Sending basic materials for your projects

Why it is Important

When sending out project materials through Symbonic the Basic Link is your first Mode option.  The basic link allows the user to customize various branded share pages depending on their target recipient.  This type of link is an Open Link, meaning anyone that has access to it can look at it and pass it along.  The basic link allows you to add the following in the send wizard:

1. Add Contacts
2. Add a Subject
3. Customize your project's Log Line
4. Brand Name
5. Note and Signature 

Creating a Basic Link

After selecting the materials you would like to package, click Send at the bottom of the screen.  This will take you directly into the Send Wizard.  After adding the appropriate contacts you select Basic in the mode field under IP Projection.  Next, add a Subject(This will help with tracking), adjust the Logline if needed, adjust the Brand Name if needed, and add or edit the Note & Signature if required.

When sending out your package, Symbonic gives you two options.  You can either click Create a Link if you want to send the link through your own mode of communication (Always recommended if your recipient has a firewall or spam blocker) or you can click Send and let Symbonic do the work.
