Adding a Step to Your Artist Agreements

Why it's Important

Artist Agreements can have multiple steps depending on the deliverable stage. Often times it's important to add a deliverable step into an agreement that's already commenced. For this purpose, Symbonic has made it easy to add deliverable steps to your agreements.

How does it work

From the Artist Agreements grid, locate the Agreement ID for where you would like to add the deliverable step and click the Agreement ID. This will take you directly to the Artist Agreement edit page. From here, scroll down to where it says Add Step on the left side towards that bottom. Upon clicking Add Step, you will see an additional step appear under the latest step. Scroll down to the newly added step and edit the following columns:

• Deliverable
• Material Status
• Guarantee
• Writing Start
• Period Length
• Writing End
• Reading Start
• Period Length
• Reading End
• Payor
• Pay Status
• Pay Date

Don't forget to click Save at the bottom

Congratulations you have now added an extra step to your Artist Agreement!
