Why it is Important
Every file, link, and content card added to the Materials Library has its own mini-database that will keep track of its every move on Symbonic. This will help the user better understand which materials are of the greatest importance when it comes to packaging and moving their projects forward.
Check the File, Link, & Card Information
Accessing the material information is different depending on the view of the library, here's how you access the information for each view:
- List View - Locate the material and double-click anywhere on the information line.
- Thumbnail View - Locate the material and click the Eye icon, located at the middle bottom of each thumbnail
Once the File, Link, or Card Information dialogue box is open the user will have access to the following information:
- Preview - An enlarged thumbnail view of the file, link, or card
- File, Link, or Card Info:
- File Info - Name, Size, Kind, Added by, Title Description, and Draft Date
- Link Info - Added by, Title, Description, and Link
- Card Info - Added by, Title, and Description
- Symbonic Links - A list of every time the material was a part of a link, containing the From, Date Created, Purpose, and Expiration Date
- Notes - A place to store all your notes on the particular material stored. The note storage will show you the Date Added and the Content, with the ability to Edit and Delete
- Activity Log - The analytics activity for the entire life that the material has been on Symbonic. The activity log will show you Who made the activity, the Time & Date, and the Action (Shared, Viewed, Created, Downloaded, Archived, & Unarchived)
