Materials library overview
Why it is Important
The materials library is one of Symbonic's most important features when it comes to developing, marketing, packaging, and ultimately selling your projects. Here are some key features that every user should know when developing the library for projects, workspace brands, and talent profiles.
- Files - All libraries can store any type of file up to 100 MB
- Links - All libraries can store any type of link
- Content Cards - Users can create a content card on the fly if they are trying to focus specifically on one page of the pitch deck or lookbook. All libraries have the ability to create content cards, each content card contains a title, sub-title, logline, image, and content.
- Library Views:
- List View - Shows the material's Title, Draft Date, Kind, Updated Date, Added By
- Thumbnail View - Shows a rendered thumbnail image of the item stored, with quick actions to view the material info, automatic send, and view the material analytics.
- Directories - Directories contain folders. They are customizable and arrangeable with the ability to make them visible to only administrators of the project
- Folders - Folders are found within directories and they contain links, files, and content cards. They are customizable and arrangeable with the ability to make them visible to only the administrators of the project.
- Sub Folders - Sub folders are found within the folders and they contain links, files, and content cards, just like the folders. They are also customizable and arrangeable.
- Archive - Each folder has its own archive. Most users use the archive for all their file revisions and for files that need to be stored but not viewed.
- Move - Each item stored can be moved between directories and folders as the user sees fit.
- Delete - Each item stored can be deleted permanently
